Last modified : FLV Player v2 betaTo help me to finish the development process of my FLV Player as soon as possible, I will add here a public URL to download the FLV Player V2 beta: Download the FLV Player V2 beta. This URL will be updated on each release to link the lastest version. New features in this version are (or will be):
I would need assistance for the localization. I already have a volunteer for the Spanish translation, but many downloads come from Turkey, I would thus need somebody for the Turkish translation. I would send to each volunteer the complete translation table just before publishing the final version. Each will have the great honnor of being listed with the others in the special thanks menu of the about window. I would try to make it possible to integrate any relevant request into the player before the final version. But I have little time to work on it and that (believe me or not) requires and have already required me a lot of work, I would thus give the priority to deliver a stable version of the application in its current state as soon as possible. CommentsDownloaded (2.26mb from tekool.net ) and tried to run it, receiving this error: flv_player.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry… Your program description sounds very interesting, and I gave it a try. I will try the previous version now. Thanks Francesco for your feedback, sadly, I can do nothing for this sort of errors. I can only reports it to the mProjector team that publish the application that embeds my player. I will wait for the next revision of their product to see if it solves this problem. Are you under Window XP or Windows 2000 ? Hi Nice work in developing the player. It is just what I need.I have version 0.0.5 under Windows XP. The player will not shut down or display right-click options when in the “Mazimize” mode. Any suggestions? Allen Allen, try the beta, it corrects this problem. Thanks Tek. The beta is an excellent program. I would comment you to add a kind of “sound mover” -(crapy eng). For example there are a lot of videos that do not match the picture with the voice so with this option you can move the sound backwards or forwards no comments?? I’m sorry Legend, but I don’t think that I will make anything to help to synchronize audio with video. You really are the first one to ask me that. Gee it would be nice if you could find out why it doesn’t work on Windows Me and fix it. It’s the most recent non-copyrighted Windows there is … Hi Tek! I am currently creating a script for downloading YouTube videos. I would like to include your video player with the script, as well as a link back to your website. I may sell the script at a later date. To elaborate: The script allows the user to download a YouTube video by entering a link to the video they want. During the download, the script suggests downloading the video player which will be included as an EXE file. It will also have a ‘more information’ link which leads to your blog. Is this acceptable by you? If not, I can remove your player from the product, but it would be great to include it with the script. You can contact me via email if you wish! Thank you -Mike Hi Mike, you can do what you want with the player, it contains its own “about window”. But you must know that my beta player already supports (it is not working well for the moment) the possibility to download a video from a YouTube URL, and it is free. just downloaded flv player, took less than a minute to start watching some flv file i’d got. Thank you for this great media app! Is this compatable with win98? Under Windows 98 Second Ed. on a computer with Pentium III at 800 MHz, the controls (Pause, Volume control, File, View, X etc.) freezes until the playback is finished. Only exception is show/hide menus when moving the mouse over the Player window area. Can you do something about that? Joyeuse Noel! I just downloaded and tried your V2 beta FLV player and it is great! Thanks for such a great program. Great viewer. I suggest you add an option for a continuous loop. Is there any way i can get the info on how to decode a flv file myself? I am building a feature into a program of mine [personal use only] to make it compose list of @Multi_coder> A good start is to read the FLV specifications that you could find here : http://www.adobe.com/devnet/flv/ If you just want to make your own Flash FLV player, you could download Flex builder demo, or Flashdevelop (free way of coding Flash) and build your own Flash FLV player. i am wondering if you will also provide sample source code at least to inspire us @elemter> as said at the top of the post … this is an old news. But I am currently working on a new open-sourced version of the player. I will give some feedback here when something is available. I like the simple interface where the top menu is not there. Un gran programa, Thanks great app! Leave a comment |
