Wld, what we discuss here is why using the BubbleMark as a reference is not a good way to evaluate which plug-in performs the best. It's only a technical discussion. Most of us are agree with you on the absolute non-sense of trying to reach 950fps. It's only a technical benchmark, I hope that anybody never use this trick to push an app online. It's not good for global energy consumption nor Flash notoriety.

Somebody, stop that crazy banner designers! On core2 3.16GHZ with full-hd screen 2-3 banner use 100%cpu, even mediaplayer stops !
Can You think about web-pages usability versus "good frame rate" inside those annoing banners ?
It's absolute nonsens, that modern PC can not play movie on one display, whyle on the other opened some flash-game !
Please, limit your flash-apps to 12-30 fps, who has a display with 950 fps ?

It seems that the new Flash player 10 beta (beta 2 = 10.0.0.525) invalidate the trick I give here to override 60fps speed on Firefox windows. Tinic Uro announces that changes has been made on wmode=transparent, it is probably the cause.
